Lifting of Mask Mandate in Ontario

Mask wearing for medical visits is no longer required by the Province of Ontario. However, we continue to encourage mask wearing as a means to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Individual staff may choose to only see patients who wear a mask, if they are trying to protect those around them (e.g., family members who are immunocompromised). As an organization, we support them in their decision to dictate their own practice.

We’re glad to finally be reaching a point of relative “normalcy”. We hope you understand that some staff continue to be cautious.

Thank you. AESM management team
